THE TULIP DINING SET

Eero Saarinen designed the Tulip Arm chair in 1955 followed by the table to compliment, in 1964. Both the table and the original chairs were constructed of Fiberglass. This provided longevity and the ability to match the tone and sheen of the set. The chair cushions featured wool fabric. True to the original, the Kardiel reproduction features chairs and the table both constructed of fiberglass. The seat cushion is covered in wool fabric. This is worth noting as the majority of reproductions in the Tulip Series, craft the body of the chairs of plastic and cover the cushion in synthetic fabric.
