U.S Ordering Information

1. Ordering Times

a. Samples: Furniture material samples ship via USPS Priority Mail. Samples typically arrive within 4-5 days of the order date.

b. Furniture: Typically once shipped, contingent U.S customers can expect delivery in 7-10 business days. Hawaii and Alaska orders allow average 12-18 business days for arrival. Tracking numbers will be provided.

2. Shipping Claims

Kardiel guarantees 100% safe delivery. In the event of shipping damage, Kardiel will replace your shipment and file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. To be eligible for this guarantee you sign for any damage upon receipt. All of the products are packaged in carton boxes and ready for long distance travel. upon receiving your shipment, carefully inspect the carton for any gouges, marks or holes. A distressed carton is a potential sign of damaged goods within the carton. Kardiel will handle the damaged claims for its shipments only if the receiver (customer) notes the condition of the carton and the condition of the contents of the carton at the time of delivery. If damage is not noted at the time of delivery, a claim can not be placed against the shipping company nor a refund, replacement, nor return to Kardiel be made.

3. Prepare For Delivery

Please check your entrances and hallway sizes prior to ordering to ensure your purchase will fit through the areas of your home. Carriers will deliver your item curb-side; carriers will not bring the item inside the home, up exterior stairs, or open the packaging. Many of our items exceed 80lbs.; know the size and weight of your arriving purchase and be prepared to unload the item from the truck. The back of the trucks are approx 48" high which is the ideal height for removing the cartons to carry them, thus a liftgate is not included in curbside delivery. We suggest with most deliveries to have a minimum of two people on hand. If you require "white glove" service of delivery into the home or a liftgate for special circumstances, please contact Kardiel customer service for a quote. Carriers usually provide an approximate time frame for delivery; please allow for the carrier to be earlier or later than the estimated time.

4. No Restock Fee & Return Policy

No Restock Fee: Canceled orders, returns and exchanges do not incur a restocking fee by Kardiel providing they meet the below conditions detailed under "return policy" below. Canceled orders and returns will incur the actual shipping costs from the customer back to the Kardiel warehouse of origin. Actual shipping costs back to Kardiel may vary from the shipping promotions amounts charged or shipping discounts which are subsidized by Kardiel.com at time of the order. Return Policy: If for any reason you are not satisfied, we accept returns without a restock fee. Simply contact us at 877-844-4988. The following three conditions are required to return merchandise. (1)The return must be arranged within 3 days of the signed delivery receipt. (2)Someone on your end must be available for the trucking company to pick up the return within 10 days of delivery receipt. (3) The item must be returned in perfect original condition, secured safely in its original carton. If you have disposed of the original carton that the item arrived in, it is your responsibility to procure new and sufficient packaging to return your order in safe condition. If you feel you have received an item in error, please return the item to it's original packaging and contact Kardiel for further instruction. Returns that do not meet the above requirements or without prior approval from Kardiel will not be refunded. Photo or video of the product may be requested by Kardiel.

5. Order Changes & Cancellations

Kardiel ships quickly - often times the day after payment clears (stock permitting). It is your responsibility to verify your order confirmation to ensure that all items, shipping and contact information are accurate. The order confirmation maybe verbal or by email. Kardiel incurs rerouting and address change fees from our shipping providers. Orders in route to their destination that require an address change, including returning to Kardiel, etc. will incur the applicable rerouting/return fee.

Canada Ordering Information

1. Duties, Customs Brokers and Ordering times

Contact us prior to placing your order if you wish to use your own customs broker, otherwise a broker will be assigned by Kardiel for your shipment. Kardiel.com does not charge or collect duties/taxes/brokerage fees for goods shipped to international destinations. These taxes or fees are paid by the customer upon arrival of the items to their destination country. Ordering times are as follows:

a. Samples: Furniture material samples to Canada ship via USPS Priority Mail. Customs clearance times vary but on average samples arrive within 5-7 days.

b. Furniture: International orders will vary in delivery time due in large part to customs clearance times. On average Canadian customers can expect delivery in 7-10 business days once shipped. Tracking numbers will be provided. Please keep in mind these are average delivery times.. Kardiel has no authority nor control over Canadian customs clearance times.

If damage is not noted at the time of delivery, a claim cannot be placed against the shipping company nor a refund, replacement, or return to Kardiel be made.

If you would like additional assistance with your delivery, you have the option to select inside delivery or white glove delivery for additional delivery costs. These services are available to cover 99% of the continental USA. Inside delivery brings the item to the exterior door of building or to an outbuilding. White glove delivery service does include delivery of item into home, light assembly, removal of debris. Assembly ability will be determined and performed at the delivery companies discretion. Carriers usually provide an approximate time frame for delivery; please allow for the carrier to be earlier or later than the estimated time. Deliveries are Monday-Friday. Weekend deliveries are available in many locations with many carriers charging an nominal fee for a weekend request. If this is needed please contact us for details in your area.

4. No Restock Fee & Return Policy

Restock Fee: International returns do not incur a restocking fee by Kardiel providing they meet the below guidelines described under "Return Policy". They will incur the actual shipping costs incurred by Kardiel.com for the shipping associated with the original shipment and the actual costs associated with shipping back to the U.S warehouse. This is regardless of shipping promotions or discounts subsidized by Kardiel.com at time of the order. Kardiel is not responsible for or able to refund import duties and taxes associated with the original order in the destination country. Kardiel ships quickly, often times next day (stock permitting). Many orders leave the warehouse the day after payment clears. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the shipping, billing and product information on your order. Kardiel incurs fees from its shipping providers for address change or rerouting shipments back to the origin warehouse. Providing an order in route to Canada and has not left the United States, a return shipping fee will be associated with stopping an order and having it returned to the warehouse. If the order has crossed the Canadian Border it cannot be reversed and returned while in shipment. In such an event, the customer will receive the item and request a return incurring the actual costs of the international shipping charges back to the warehouse.

6. Import Duties & Taxes

Kardiel.com does not charge or collect duties/taxes for goods shipped to international destinations. These taxes are paid by the customer upon arrival of the items to their destination country.
