The Le Corbusier Adjustable Height Dining Table (LC6) was first exhibited at the Salon D' Automne in 1929. The Le Corbusier Dining Table was designed in 1928 specifically for the exhibition. True to the original, the Kardiel reproduction of the Le Corbusier Dining Table LC6 is constructed with an elliptical tube. Also known as the Tube d'Avion Table.
Le Corbusier's inspiration for the tube shape came from the emerging air travel industry as this shape of the tube was found in airplane construction during the emerging modern age of the late 1920s. This table allows for flexibility in use with the adjustable height of the glass top. The base structure is constructed of an elliptical matte black metal base with four adjustable wheel pilots. This reproduction uses a 1/2" thick tempered glass top. All metal joints are fully welded, sealed, and sanded. An iconic high-quality modernist dining table option.
