Acapulco Chairs

Modernism goes outdoor with Acapulco. Comfortable lounging meets the look of 1950’s resort furniture for your urban outdoor space. Legend has it, a French tourist visited Acapulco in 1953 and was uncomfortably hot sitting on a solidly-constructed chair. As the story goes, the French tourist was inspired by the open string construction of the local Mayan hammocks. In this context, he designed a modernist comfortable outdoor lounge chair. Acapulco was the result and quickly grew to icon status for modernist outdoor themes.
