This curated collection of sideboards & credenzas are steeped in modernist history and utilized for a variety of storage functions in a broad range of rooms in the home. Updated to meet the flexible demands of modern low maintenance households yet holding true to the original modernist designs.

What's the difference between a sideboard and a credenza?

Great question! The terms are used interchangeably and both were designed to be placed in a dining room to hold fine china and act as an occasional buffet for placement of food.

Can I use a credenza as a TV stand?

Many of our customers use credenzas as TV stands however since they were not designed for this purpose, there is not a hole in the back for cords so that would need to be altered post delivery if needed.

What is a sideboard?

A sideboard is a versital furniture piece used mainly for storage. It originally was intended for formal dining rooms to store fine china and linens but it is common to find them in Kitchens, living rooms and other common areas of the modern day home.

Do the doors on the credenza and sideboards lock?

Kardiel sideboards do not have a lock feature.

Are the modern sideboard drawers removable?

Yes! The drawers are removable by pressing the small lever that is located in the drawer glides on each side simultaneously.
